"LIVE" - Jewel of the Seas - 16 May 2015 - Royal returns to the West Coast

We went to the show tonight. The Royal Caribbean singers and dancers doing West End to Broadway. Music from Cole Porter Les Miserable to Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. I am a sucker for these shows, I just enjoy all the music. Sorry I don't have pictures add I always feel I am bothering others taking pictures during the show.

The pictures you posted yesterday were very well done.

You must have been taking pictures when everyone else was on shore doing excursions to hit it so empty.

Question:
What would you say is the age range of travelers on this cruise, did you mostly see people over 40, or were there under 20's on board.

I just wondered because we are looking at a cruise on the Jewel, but, not sold on the age range (DD still wants to travel with us and she would be 21)and forbid it if she was soooo bored:eek:.

Me and DH would cruise anywhere a ship takes us:D

I'm glad to hear that you enjoy the shows in the evenings. I, too, am looking forward to them, but can't seem to find a lot of info on the boards about them.

Is there a new show each evening? What time does it usually start? We have early seating in MDR and I hope to make the show afterwards.

The range of ages on board is well spread out. More kids than I would gave expected for the itinerary. Quite a few in their 20s & 30 as well.

I never thought to check if the Giants were in town. Maybe in September. [emoji3]

Yes they usually have a different show every night. It varies from the ship's dancers to what they call headliners. Those acts can also be singers or comedy or magic, a variety. Tonight is Bowzer from the group Sha Na Na.

It is a grey windy day today at sea. Relative wind speed is about 45 so I don't imagine too many pool side activities today. [emoji14]

That was my first thought and it was why I went to the balcony last night. But it has very few lights on it, it would have been unrecognizable in a picture. I was surprised.

Captain has announced we will be arriving at Victoria about 6pm tomorrow due to our late departure from San Francisco.

In an hour or so they will be broadcasting on channel 14 information about the excursions.

Thanks for the preview, we're sailing Oct 3rd as well. This got us more excited and now we want to do a night time Alcatraz tour. I had no idea that was an option!!

My dh and I cruised on the Navigator beginning of April, my first cruise, what is the Skyview (I hope that was what it was called)? There was nothing on our ship with that name. I guess it was already taken out.
