Rare richstowe Posted June 26, 2015 #26 Share Posted June 26, 2015 I guess all the booze being smuggled on hasn't hurt the bottom line. Then just imagine how much they will make after eliminating all smuggling . ;)
winddawn Posted June 26, 2015 Author #27 Share Posted June 26, 2015 It is doing well today again. I (stop) sold 1k shares of CCL at $44 and bought Candy King, which gained 30+% in weeks. But now that 30% faded out and my remaining CCL is much more solid. For me the CCL shares are a buy and hold investment. Using the onboard credit benefit is worth more than the stock gains if you cruise very often. I've had my shares for many years and have no plans to sell them. I too find this benefit the best for me as well. I've been getting over $1000/year in the cruise benefits, with last year, my highest at $1650.
