Korimako Posted July 27, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 27, 2015 UK passport holders don't need visas for NZ. Check on NZ Immigration website. Australia requires you to have an ETA in your passport. Apply on the official Australian Government site - it's an electronic visa which gets lodged in your passport. It's about $20 AUD per person HTH:)

Floridiana Posted July 27, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 27, 2015 You need ESTA for the USA, it's an online application. I don't know to which countries your ship will go between Hawaii and NZ. Could be any number of island nations.

Jacs Posted July 28, 2015 #6 Share Posted July 28, 2015 If your other ports are in French Polynesia you won't need a visa for there.

During cruise will be visiting New Zealand etc. What countries will we require visas for? Have tried researching on google without success. We visit our daughter every year in Australian and get our visas on line from Easyeta. Cost is very reasonable - cheapest I've found. Payment is in Aus dollars but the conversion rate is brilliant at the moment They are very helpful if you have a query as well. Hope this helps. hobbsie65 Posted July 28, 2015 #8 Share Posted July 28, 2015 Visa is free for Australia for UK passports - just apply through the official website & takes about 24 hours if not quicker. Just did ours yesterday for our November trip.

boisthorstein Posted November 23, 2015 #14 Share Posted November 23, 2015 For travelling or immigration purposes I always ask an immigration lawyer's advise for assurance, most especially if I am not sure with the place that I'm going travel or migrate. This might sound a little dependent but I just want a smooth and efficient travel experience with different countries.
Aus Traveller Posted November 24, 2015 #15 Share Posted November 24, 2015 For travelling or immigration purposes I always ask an immigration lawyer's advise for assurance, most especially if I am not sure with the place that I'm going travel or migrate. This might sound a little dependent but I just want a smooth and efficient travel experience with different countries. A lot of us have cruised to these countries in the Pacific multiple times and know what the visa requirements are. I don't find the need to take the time or spend the money to go to an immigration lawyer. If I am cruising to an area of the world that is new to me, I will check on line. I find each country's website to be a more accurate source of information than Princess. :)
windsor26 Posted November 25, 2015 #16 Share Posted November 25, 2015 (edited) As a Brit I check via Google.co.uk with their country's high commission on the requirements However The cruise lines sometimes ignore this We do not need a visa for Indonesia but Princess insisted on getting one for us and charging us $44.95 each for the visa which receipt aid $35 Good work if you can get it for 2000 passengers I intend to take this up with Heads Office I know there were only a few non Australians on board last week but they should not lump us all together:( Edited November 25, 2015 by windsor26
