Mapomp Posted August 3, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 3, 2015 Hi. We're going on our first Celebrity cruise this winter. I'm wondering what the cabin amenities are, specifically in the bath/shower. Other cruise lines have gone to the all-in-one shampoo/conditioner on the wall combined with a shower gel next to it. I'll be in a balcony if it makes any difference. Also, any other items supplied? How is the hairdryer? Should bring my own? Thanks, MA
cle-guy Posted August 3, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 3, 2015 (edited) X still has individual amenities. Bar soap, shampoo, separate conditioner and lotion. Some cabins get body wash (anyone can request, but it's a specific perk to Concierge and above). I think a sewing kit and shower cap too. Cotton balls and cotton swabs. Hair dryer is at the desk/vanity area in a drawer. Edited August 3, 2015 by cle-guy

lakelorain Posted August 3, 2015 #4 Share Posted August 3, 2015 On the Summit last week in a regular Veranda cabin, we had shampoo, bar soap, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, cotton swabs, q-tips and a shower cap. Hair dryer was in the closet.
Mapomp Posted August 3, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted August 3, 2015 You guys are awesome!! I especially liked the pictures, since we'll be in an aft cabin, tho not a concierge class. Thanks again!!
julia Posted August 3, 2015 #6 Share Posted August 3, 2015 I'll answer the "HOW is the hair dryer".... I've always found it perfectly fine (strong) and have not packed one in years.
Mapomp Posted August 4, 2015 Author #7 Share Posted August 4, 2015 Good to know about the hair dryer, thanks. It's going to be so nice not to have to pack one. And to not have to pack my own shampoo/conditioner. I really don't like the combination stuff.... Can't wait!!!
Scrappytraveller Posted August 4, 2015 #8 Share Posted August 4, 2015 The hair dryer does the job, but it's a hold-the-button-down type. I bring a couple of elastic to keep the button pressed down, which I leave on all the time, and just unplug it to start and stop it. Some people can't stand it so they bring their own.
