Transfer from port to Rome Airport

Hi All ....we are on the Constellation 15th-27th April 2016 out of Rome, do Celebrity Cruise Lines offer transport from the ship to airport, if so any idea of cost. If not does anyone want to share taxi our flight departs 15.30hrs.??

Yes they do. About $100 US per person last time I used it. There are alternatives. Rome Cabs is highly recommended and is 130 euros for cab for 2. Civitavecchia Cab Company has a share ride price of 65euros for 2. The train is an option if you can walk and carry your luggage.

Celebrity will definitely offer a transfer they may even do some sort of sightseeing plus drop off at airport, if time allows with your flight.

 

But you are probably better off trying to get a share with some of your fellow passengers with a private taxi company, they will want you off ship by 9 am 9.30 ish.

We just returned from 10 nights on the Celebrity Reflection. It was an amazing trip. Based on reviews on Cruise Critic and Trip Advisor, we used Stefano's Rome Cabs for transfers to the hotel and port. We could not have been happier with our choice. We also used them for two tours: Rome at Night, and Rome in a Day. The drivers were great and our tours were fabulous. They were always there on time, in fact were a few minutes early. We would highly recommend Rome Cabs

We're always using Rome Cabs. You can't go wrong on that one. Clean cars, friendly drivers and realiable service. We have used them over and over again an will again upcoming Saturday to join Silhouette.

As others have mentioned, there are a lot of options with private transfers. On our September cruise on the Silhouette which ended in Rome we used Bob's Limos for a transfer from the ship to the airport. It also included a 3-hour "Rome Highlights" tour which was wonderful! Their service was excellent, prices reasonable, and our driver/guide was great. We would use them again in a heartbeat. Enjoy your cruise!

We have also used (and recommended) Rome Cabs (romecabs.com). You can really reduce the cost by having 6 or even 8 people so it often pays to look for others by posting on your Roll Call. Just make sure you specify the time you want to leave the port (you also need to do this when you book). Keep in mind it is approximately 1 hour from the port to FCO. One nice thing about booking a private transfer is that they will take you to the appropriate terminal (including the remote Terminal 4 used for flights to the USA/Canada).

We also just returned from the Reflection and used All Transfers in Rome (ATR). We had 12 people and we arranged for pick-up at our hotel to the port and upon return from the port to the airport. We had 2 vans with 6 per van. They were on time and drove nice Mercedes vans that could accommodate 8 people. Dropped us off right at the check-in and picked us up just outside the gangway. Plus, they were less expensive than several other options I checked.
