Keith,

 

Do you know if the ships cell towers are turned off while going through the canal?

I guess the canal is a unique location.

I was wondering if there is cell coverage there and if the ship turns off its cell tower.

I have unlimited call/text and international data in Panama.

Yes the signal is local and quite strong the entire way. ;)

Brilliant pictures! What deck was your cabin? The picture of the Canal wall with the balcony chair etc is amazing, that's why I'd love to know what level it was on

 

 

Emerald 734/736, I chose these cabins specifically because of that unique experience.

They are the last 2 cabins on the port side. 736 has an incredible view aft as well. ;)

Wow! That's brilliant, we're in Emerald 722 when we board in under 3 weeks, so just 6 cabins along the corridor!
