i saw a giant checkers board not sure about chess.it was located behind the movie screen just below serenity deck if i remember correctly.mini golf and basketball in same area.

Thank you! He is obsessed and we leave January 2nd for our family Christmas cruise (we cruise as our gift to each other each year right after Christmas) and we could not find any pix that actually showed the Valor giant chess board.

 

What cabin did you have and where was it located on ship? Also, was there actually a sushi bar? We have seen conflicting information regarding this?

we didn't see a sushi bar. we had room 7410. empress deck near the back.

dont remember band names. i know the solo performer was from ashville NC.

There is a giant chess game too. I can't remember exactly where we saw it but we did see it a couple of weeks ago. We passed out many times when going to Camp so it was probably up on deck 11 or 12 near Camp Carnival.

 

Also, there is no sushi bar. It has been converted to the Taste Bar.

Does the Valor have fridges in all of the cabins? Also, since the Valor doesn't have the Blue Iguana and Guys, what did they have in their places and how was it?

food. Buffet was ok. Usual grill with burgers hot dogs., then Italian buffet.Other options,How sh and chips which was great, Mongolian wok, that takes forever but good. Burrito station, then the normal sandwich and pizza stops. Main dining room was ok nothing special.

The service in the main dining room was so bad we ate dinner at the buffet last two nights. Of course in saying this i can only comment on our service not other people.We ate in the steakhouse the first night and was great, well worth the money.

We purchased cheers and although we never hit the 15 drink limit it was still worth it. Our cabin did have a mini fridge and a hair dryer which worked great.

What movies were being shown on the Dive in Movie screen? We're sailing in 11 days (Halloween Night). I've read where they will play Halloween theme movies on the 31st but curious about the others throughout the week.
