Varies by ship. We had some reduced price drink periods on Oasis last month. I believe they had a 20% off period in Schooner Bar on or two nights for a couple of hours. The special price period was listed in the Cruise Compass.

I remember on Indy last October each afternoon there was buy one get one free on the cocktail of the day for 1 hour.

It was one of the highlights of my day!

On our last cruise on Indy they had 2-1 martinis on certain days during certain hours in one bar only.

Absolutely varies by ship. Drink specials will be noted in your Compass for the day.

If you are looking for a happy hour like you see on land it is doubtful you will find it on a ship. Yes, they do have periodic bogo deals, but they are very specific. On our last cruise I watched for them more out of curiosity and found that what they were offering on their deals did not appeal to me. If you are not picky or are a straight beer drinker yes you will be able to find deals, however if you are looking for a specific drink chances are you will be paying full price.
