New Years Cruise

We've been onboard the Mexican Riviera cruise, Hawaii cruise and Panama Canal cruise for New Year's Eve and all three have had plenty of partying, of all kinds. It's formal night and most people really go for it on that one. Mexico and Panama had band and dancing on deck, plus band in atrium, basically every band onboard was playing somewhere. Along with every other type of musical act played at some point. The club, Skywalkers on all but one of those, was rocking after the official parties finished up around 1or 2, with people partying and dancing till basically sunup. The next day is always fun too, with lots of lounging and bloody mary's going on! Princess provides party hats, horns, and streamers for the parties -usually on your table at dinner. Some kind of top hat for men, and headband with feather and sparkles for ladies.... Lots and lots of fun. Panama Canal cruise again for us this year! Can't beat the holidays onboard.

Princess does know how to throw a great party. We have not been on the ship for NYE but have been on ships for superbowl and Princess has thrown a very good party for the occasion going all out both on the lido deck and in the theater for those that don't want to be outside. You will have a really good time. If you want to be in a really festive mood, being decorations for your cabin and door. It just makes the event even more fun.

It is one of the best cruise vacations I have been on. It will be a formal night, they will go all out at dinner, tons of dancing, specialty drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Pictures can't do it justice, parties in the atrium, parties in skywalkers, parties on the pool deck, get your rest the night before because you will need it!

Have so much fun!!

We will be on a Christmas/New Year cruise next month, but on New Year's Eve, we are scheduled to be in port until 6pm. The timing does not usually indicate a formal night, so I'm not sure if they will change it.

I have been on a Princess cruise where NYE became an extra formal evening in addition to the regular number for that length cruise.
