On breakaway they sent me back because I had the camera with me.

About how long was the wait in line for that water slide?

Really? I specifically asked the guy if it was ok and he said, sure! The wait was never more than 3-4 minutes and were never more than 15 people back. Usually we walked right up and were 2nd or 3rd in line. They get everyone going quickly and don't wait too long in between each rider..

Do these games cost money or are they included?

Thanks for this great and thorough review so far! Really engaging!

The games at O'sheehans and the arcade all cost money. They are $1 or $2 per game for most. In the arcade you collect tickets and then you can choose toys... we go there later in the week.

It was about 2pm and we were all starving! We decided to go see if O'Sheehans had available tables and to our surprise it was totally empty, maybe 3 other families were eating in there. It had been packed for dinner the last few nights so we figured it would be the same way for lunch, although we did go after the lunch rush I guess. The menu looked great...

We started with the spinach dip appetizer to share and yuck it was so runny and tasteless. I've never had a bad spinach dip (and we're not picky) but this was really bad.

I also had a chopped salad to start

The girls each had a burger and fries with a side of broccoli

I had the open faced turkey, it was very good.

Len had the Reuben and loved it.

My in-laws had fish and chips (no pic sorry) and said it was very good, they actually went back again later in the week by themselves to have it again.

And why not have dessert...

Apple Pie

Pound cake

Brownie cheesecake

After lunch we passed by the atrium and they were doing wii dancing where you have to copy what's on the screen. Sienna participated for a little...

Len and Sienna went to the arcade while the rest of us went back to the pool and she got some cool prizes from all the tickets she won.

We hung at the pool until about 5:30 and went back to the rooms to shower and change. When we got back we had one of these on our bed! It's a hardcover book all about the Escape, very nice and not sure why we got it but great keepsake.

Len and I were going to see Brat Pack tonight and my mom and in-laws were going to take the kids to dinner. They ended up going to the buffet and walking around and went to bed early.

Len and I went to Brat Pack at 8:30 in the Supper Club. It's a small dinner venue and it's just perfect for this kind of show. We were seated with another couple which was fine... every seat in there is a good seat!

I snapped a quick pic at the end, no flash.

About Brat Pack... it was awesome!! We were amazed by the talent, every single person in that show was incredible. It was all the popular 80's movies combined (16 Candles, Ferris Bueller, Breakfast Club, etc) into one show and all the best songs from them.

I had made a reservation online about 2 months before and I think it was $35/person. WELL WORTH IT!!!! If you only see one show, see that one! I didn't take any pictures of the menu or food but it was all very good. The waiters have the timing down on when to bring out courses and clear the tables based on what is going on in the show so you don't miss anything. Highly recommend!!!

Oh and we got to take pictures with the cast on the way out, but I didn't buy the pic.

After the show we went to District Brewhouse for a cold beer and there was a football game on so it was really crowded.

They have a photo booth in there, we never used it. $5

They had a bunch of beer on tap, we each had a Magic Hat... super cold and delicious.

Our family is booked on the Escape in April and I was wondering what the minimum weight requirement is for the water slides? I wasn't able to read it from your photo, it looks like it is listed on the white sheet of paper on the right side of the sign. My youngest is well over the minimum height requirement, but I'm not sure about the weight and he wants to ride ALL of the water slides! :)

Also, did you go to any of the comedy shows? We loved the family ones on Carnival last year and I was wondering if they have any family friendly comedy shows on NCL?

Thanks again for your wonderful review! I'm so glad you and your family enjoyed their cruise! After reading the first few reviews to come out, I was thinking we would have to cancel and find something else.

We finally decided to try out the slides!! Sienna was too scared at first, she wasn't sure she wanted to.

None of us are really thrill seekers, but mom and I tried it out first while Sienna watched from below (see her in the bright pink bathing suit waving??)

We got a double adult tube which was blue (there was also double kids - yellow, single kids - yellow and single adult - blue). There was a big area to house them but they were never in there, they were always up a few stairs where the slide ends and the NCL employee was there handing them out as people came down.

Weight requirement for the tube slide I'm not sure... but my 6 year old is small and had no problem... she's about 45 lbs. She didn't go by herself though, always with an adult. If he's over the height requirement I don't think they will question him. The only weight requirement I remember seeing is for the drop slide... 100 lbs.

We didn't get to any comedy shows, definitely wanted to but just didn't work out. I think they had them every night though.

Definitely don't cancel, you'll have a blast!

Thanks for your reply! No, we're not cancelling now that I've seen plenty of good reviews!:) I think the initial ones I read were from the Atlantic crossing and also the short sailings they had before beginning the 7 nights. I know we'll have fun, we don't get bent out of shape over little things, especially on vacation! I'm super excited to try the ropes course and water slides myself! :)

My youngest son is 12 years old and easily over the height limit, but he's not 100 pounds yet. That seems like a funny weight if the height limits are listed as 40 and 48 inches. He really wants to do the drop slides along with the others! Maybe they'll let him do it, it's not like they'll have a scale to weigh everyone.

Thanks again for your review and fun pictures!

The weight is because that's whats required to have enough momentum to shoot up that hill on the slide after the drop. If he doesnt weigh 100 pounds he will get stuck in the slide.

You're welcome! And yes they actually do have a scale right up there next to the slide!!! They didn't ask me to weigh myself but I did anyway to make sure... I was so nervous I would get stuck but I easily got around.

Does anyone know why I can't see any of the posted pictures? I'm using a Dell computer and I am logged into CC.
