1852 Freedom of the Seas Sofa Bed

My sister booked room 1852- Panoramic Ocean View on Freedom of the Seas for her family of 4. Her kids are 14 and 15 years old. Will they fit comfortably on the sofa bed? I can't seem to find any pictures of the room. Thanks for any help

I was in that very room on November with my family of 4.

 

My kids are smaller, 9 and 12. But I'd say they'll be fine.

 

I came here today to post pics of the room, but all mine came out pretty badly.

 

Here is the view of the room in port. It's horribly dark, but you can get a feel for the room. The dark space between me and the bed is where the sofa is.

 

Also the view from the room pulling into Labadee.

Since teens can and will sleep on a floor, the bed will be just fine!

Thank you for the responses as my teen nieces are also planning on sharing a sofa bed in 1822 in April.

 

A follow up question I have is when pulled out, would you say the bed is a double?

I appreciate the response. Had they switched out the mattress on the main bed when you were in the room? I'm hoping they haven't as these rooms are new compared to the rest of the ship.

I shared this concern last year on IOS when we shared a room with our boys. They were fine. To give perspective they were 12 and 10 but 12 year old was 6'0" at the time and 10 year old was about 5'8". They are of course bigger this year so we opted to get them their own room to give us all more space but over all last year worked fine. The oldest is now 6'4" and sharing the pull out would have been tough for him.

I will certainly try to post pictures. My sister and her husband will be in 1820, my husband and I actually upgraded to the Family panoramic oceanview (1804) for the kiddos!

Thank you so much for posting pictures of 1852! I've been scouring the web for photos, but it seems like the family panoramic rooms are the only ones that people post. We are going on the Freedom in May and really looking forward to the view from this room!

Ok here is the sofa bed pulled out in a standard panoramic oceanview room. Not the larger or family room.These are my two nieces. They are both about 5'5.

 

The cool thing about these beds is they can make it up as one big bed or make it up as two twins!

 

The girls had plenty of space and they said the bed was fine comfort wise.

Thread is 2 yrs old, may not get response from posters. But the sports deck is at aft, these cabins in discussion, 1852/1820/1804 are at front of ship. So no sports noise

Anyone been in Cabin 1802?  We are booked for that cabin in May on Freedom of the Seas.  My 2 little boys are 2 and 6, I am hoping the pullout couch will be more than fine for them.
