Providing these so others can make an informed decision about this cruise. We made what we thought was a leap of faith and were very well rewarded for it. Had an absolute blast. Would love to go again one day while we can still do the hikes and the landings.

I used a free site called PdfSR to upload them. No idea how long they'll stay online given that it's free, so recommend saving them all if you want them. Enjoy!

Many thanks for these uploads. My husband and I are booked on this cruise for 2016 and I'm eagerly reading any info I can get my hands on. At least we are now in the same calendar year as departure. :)

Hey, KP2015 - nice job!! Thanks for doing this! We only brought home the ones starting with Hope Bay and ending with Salisbury Plain so now my husband can print out the rest if he wants them.

For anyone who might be on the fence about taking this cruise, read through the Heralds and then BOOK IT!!! I promise you will not regret one moment. This one set the bar against which any of our future vacations will be measured! :D

Bronwyn we have also booked this cruise. We have gotten terrific feedback from our many Seabourn friends who have done this itinerary. FYI, I have started a roll call to collect information as well as the names of our fellow travelers.

Thanks Chairsin; will have a look at the Roll Call. We booked many months ago hence my comment about being at least in the same year as departure now. We did our first Seabourn cruise in the Baltic in 2014; they brought Robin West on board for a few days to talk about Antarctica and he did a great sales job on Sth Georgia which is why we also chose this date.

Really enjoyed reading the Heralds. What a lovely idea to make the effort to post them. I can see it was difficult to choose among the many opportunities available during the day. Did you need a vacation to rest up when you got home?

We are on the January 2017 sailing so will miss South Georgia Island. Disappointing, but my travel companion did not want to be away from home at Christmas. Just grateful to be getting to Antarctica at all, as my spouse has no interest in going there.

I can understand that
Another two couples we know who have cruised everywhere more than once reckoned Antarctica was the best they have ever done made me think that we should look into Antarctica
It took me a lot of talking, had to take a two week cruise around New Zealand as a square off, then still do a lot of talking to get her indoors to sail to Antarctica
Once we had done the cruise the wife now agrees with everyone who has sailed to Antarctica that Antarctica is the bestest place to go to
You have to go to understand :) Edited by Thecat123

Wish they had Ambassador Hosts [like on Crystal] so we could dance the nights away. Otherwise, I agree that this will be the "bestest" trip ever. When we were on the Odyssey this summer I asked a lot of officers, entertainers, etc., which was the best cruise and they all immediately answered "Antarctica." Only a year to wait!
