Hi I have been offered cabins 7026 or 7030 on Jewel . I have been looking and for slightly more I can get cabins on deck 8 or 9 ( 9 towards rear of ship )

Los on deck 8 ( 8584 ) looks good to me but no experience really .

Can anyone help , need to decide quickly

8654, 50,48,34,30,28,26,24,22

8584,80,78,

8156,54,50,26,24,16

8148,38,34,32,30

8128,26,22

Lots of the 80,s

Any help really appreciated as do not know which to pick for best , think I prefer midship but looking for advice please

Thanks debs

Honestly, I think you will get a bunch of different answers here because it is all based on personal choice. We LOVE a cabin toward the rear on Deck 9. It is a super quick walk up two decks to the Windjammer in the morning. It just suits us well. However, cabins on decks 7 or 8 would absolutely suit others for various reasons. Some people prefer to be closer to the Centrum on Deck 4, so Deck 7 is not that far away.

Sorry but I wouldn't be interested in deck 7 with the extended balcony...a bit of privacy is sacrificed with the partial plexiglass near the railing. I would opt for deck #9 toward the aft on the JOS would be great.

Are you also looking at LOS too  If so I would go for the #86's mid to aft near the hump.

I agree with Ashland regarding Deck 7 and the partial dividers. I think I'd be happy with 8622 (not too far aft, yet not right on top of the Centrum), or 8584 (if you want a more midship location). We had 1540 (Deck 10) on the Jewel, and it was very convenient to midship.

OP, the cabins you referenced were "E class Deluxe" balcony cabins. Some of the recommendations here have been the larger "D Class Superior" balcony cabins. As such, the "D" generally command a higher price if that's OK.

Have had both, a little tight in the "E",little more room in the D is about the only difference. We had an E with the extended balcony and thought it was great(port 7158). These pics are older, but the room and balcony size is the same.
