Guest maddycat Posted March 26, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 26, 2016 I really hope that you're wrong. My DH was just saying that warm chocolate cake is one of the things that he is most looking forward to on our April cruise.
foxgoodrich Posted March 26, 2016 #5 Share Posted March 26, 2016 (edited) I know that Carnival serves a Chocolate Melting Cake (or Chocolate Lava Cake??..something like that...). On Royal we've enjoyed the Bittersweet Chocolate Souffle, which is served hot, with a nice cream sauce. Is that what he remembers, do you think? Retired LEO Posted March 26, 2016 #6 Share Posted March 26, 2016 Does anyone know why they are not serving warm chocolate cake in the dining room anymore? Had it last month on Freedom.
Beachiekeen Posted March 26, 2016 #7 Share Posted March 26, 2016 It was still on Liberty in February. I will be so sad if it's true, it was the best dessert of the cruise. And I tried them all. :)

moopig Posted March 26, 2016 #10 Share Posted March 26, 2016 Was disappointed that this wasn't on the menu any of the nights on my 4-nighter on Brilliance earlier this month :(
Clarea Posted March 26, 2016 #11 Share Posted March 26, 2016 Was disappointed that this wasn't on the menu any of the nights on my 4-nighter on Brilliance earlier this month :( Was not enough nights to reach that menu. We had it on the 5-night BR in December.
cruisefan23 Posted March 26, 2016 Author #12 Share Posted March 26, 2016 We were on Liberty for Christmas and were told they didn't have it anymore. Maybe it's just that ship.

I haven't sailed on the Liberty but what I've been reading here it seems to be in a class by itself.

It was one of the better desserts. I was referring to Liberty. It seems by what I'm reading that that ship does things apart from the rest of the fleet and not in a favorable way. She's the last of the freedom class for me to sail I'm sure you will be fine, but would appreciate if you report back any major differences you find between Liberty and the other Royal ships you have sailed.
