I really hope that you're wrong. My DH was just saying that warm chocolate cake is one of the things that he is most looking forward to on our April cruise.

I know that Carnival serves a Chocolate Melting Cake (or Chocolate Lava Cake??..something like that...). On Royal we've enjoyed the Bittersweet Chocolate Souffle, which is served hot, with a nice cream sauce. Is that what he remembers, do you think?

Had it last month on Freedom.

It was still on Liberty in February. I will be so sad if it's true, it was the best dessert of the cruise. And I tried them all. :)

Was not enough nights to reach that menu. We had it on the 5-night BR in December.

We were on Liberty for Christmas and were told they didn't have it anymore. Maybe it's just that ship.

I haven't sailed on the Liberty but what I've been reading here it seems to be in a class by itself.

I'm not impressed with Royal's desserts, but that is one of the better ones.

I totally agree about the cake. It was one of the better desserts.

 

I was referring to Liberty. It seems by what I'm reading that that ship does things apart from the rest of the fleet and not in a favorable way.

I'm sure you will be fine, but would appreciate if you report back any major differences you find between Liberty and the other Royal ships you have sailed.

They haven't stopped serving this dessert on any of the ships.....:rolleyes:
