On shore pricing question

Hi All,

My family and I are going to be sailing on the Pacific Princess in May. My twin girls collect t-shirts on each ship that we sail on, and at each port that we hit. On this trip we will be going to Iceland. My wife was trying to figure out how much currency that we will take with us. My question is, does anyone have an idea how much t-shirts cost, on an average, at the shops on shore?

We were in Iceland in March. We didn't use cash for anything. Everything was able to be purchased with a debit card or a credit card. Do check your card - there can be fees for international transactions. Its easier to use a chip card there but they are cheerful about the non chip cards also.

Yes, agree too with the poster who says it is expensive. Very expensive place.

Hey, thanks everybody. I appreciate all of your quick replies. It looks like the credit is the best way to go. I knew that the people here would have the answer. Thank you all very much.
