Classic package covers beers up to $6, liquor up to $8 and wine up to $9. Premium package covers anything up to $13. If something that costs over $13, with the premium package you pay the difference plus gratuity. If you order something over the limit on classic package you pay the full cost.

Whats the procedure for upgrading on board?

You can do it ahead of time if you want. Either call or I've heard you can do it online. I like to get as much done before hand as possible, that's me. Your sea pass will indicate Premium. If you have a lot of OBC you may want to wait till you get on board. There will be ship personnel ready to upgrade and sell you extras you as soon as you get there! Or you can do it at any bar. They will put a premium sticker on your sea pass.

If you guys want something besides beer at night, the whiskey tasting (Irish and scotch) are the best deal on the ship. Incredible old whiskey, 3 shots for $20. Drink pkg does not apply.

Just order them one at a time and the package will apply. Don't order them in a flight.

Doing a 10 day on Equinox Thanksgiving week. Two Sunday sea days, so I'll be there watching football and drinking good beers!

Don't forget the 3 games on Thanksgiving Day!

Vikings @ Lions 12:30

Redskins @ Cowboys 4:30

Steelers @ Colts 8:30

FYI:

The bar did not open till ( I think ) 2:00, the game was on, but no sound. It took 20-30 minutes to get someone in there to get it

turned on.

Here's a link to the menu, I'm looking forward to it in November!

If you have the premium you only pay the difference, plus gratuity.

Not sure if it's the same on other ships but the prices on that menu have increased on Eclipse. The large plates are $10. However it's rarely frequented due to its weird implementation on Eclipse where it appears only at the passport bar on sea days and few know about it. Seems to be, like Bistro on Five, if it's not working, up the cost. Our friends on Eclipse last year tried it and waited nearly an hour for food. Not a great experience.

I have read and heard this from quite a few people here and on a couple other Celebrity groups I am in. The Equinox design is great! And the 4-5 big screen TV's, are better to see than the ones in the casino.

The burger and flat breads are well worth the added cost, even over the mast grill burgers included with the cruise.

Is the Gastrobar open when boarding on Embarkation day?

Yes.

I'll look at the Daily when I get home tonight for the exact time, 3 or 4. They have a display of most of the beers on a table.

In 2014 we boarded on a Monday and it opened at 4:00 pm,

In 2015 we boarded on a Friday and it opened at 11:00 am.
