Another B2B platinum question

I searched and found an answer but it was a couple years old... so I would like to ask this please

 

I'm currently at 63 days

 

In July I have a 5 day booked

 

In December I'm doing a B2B... 4 days then 3 days.

 

Will I be platinum on the first leg of the B2B? FTTF is available and I really like jumping the line :) If I don't get the platinum to start with I'll grab the FTTF.

On day one of the 3 day cruise? Because technically they are separate cruises and the OP won't be Platinum until the second cruise of the B2B. Or are you saying that they will make an exception and treat both legs as one cruise?

Yes, in the case of a B2B, you do receive Platinum benefits starting with the first cruise if you turn Platinum during the B2B. It remains two separate cruises with that little anomaly.

This happened to us Jan 2016 on the Dream We were doing a B2B making platinum on the second leg. I called before the cruise and they would not give it to us on the first part. We got FTTF. When the second leg came it was hard to get them to recognize the change in status but eventually did.
