I agree, the Freedom numbers seem slower than Oasis class. Could be they are throttling more aggressively.

 

Or RCI only installed O3B "light" during the retrofit and this is as good as it will get. I wonder if the other retrofits also have lower numbers than the brand new ships.

I wish I had done some speed tests on MJ back in June. That's the only other ship I know of with O3b besides Oasis class, Quantum class, and Freedom.

Now at Grand Cayman, half the ship has gone ashore .

If I am connected to WiFi and I am inactive for a while ( minutes, could be 10,20,30) , the wifi connection is often dropped. Need to rejoin the network. Doesn't log me off, just drops network connection.

I've had the opposite problem on Vision where I'm still connected to the WiFi, but have to log in repeatedly.

Anything over .5 MB in both up and down speed should be enough for that. The problem on Liberty is not the speed but really high ping rates (600+ ms compared to around 200 on Freedom).
