NCL Joy Question

Will the Joy be open to booking by Americans? I went to NCL website and it's not listed for choosing...is it because itineraries haven't been announced yet or is it not open for we Americans?

I did some more research this morning and it seems this is heavily marketed to the chinese market, hence not even bookable on american site. Not sure I want to travel with a 99% Chinese clientele.:eek:

I understand and I know what you mean. There are other ways of seeing Asia/China if that's what you're looking for.

Read that the onboard language will be Mandarin, so that might be the biggest challenge.

Too bad as the ship sounds amazing!! Was hoping to sail on its inaugural sail or TA but then again, it may not be making a crossing like that based on its final destination. Being as it's geared for the Asian market, I think the food choices alone would turn me away. A meal or 2 is one thing but an entire cruise...no thanks
