We took 2 bottles of wine (1 per drinking-age adult) even though I don't drink it. That way my wife had it if she wanted it or could share with her aunt. We put both bottles in one carry-on (I wrapped them in jackets to give them some cushion) and one of us carried it through customs. Never had a problem.

There's wine glasses in your cabin. My wife and her aunt poured themselves a glass of wine each evening and took it to dinner with them. Just be sure to take the glass back to your cabin.

If you want to buy bottled water, order it before your cruise. It's a little cheaper that way. Or at least it was when we ordered it earlier this year for our June cruise.
