"Select" package included in fare - upgrade to new Deluxe

So it's clear that if you have an included Select package you can now upgrade to the Deluxe package for $10 +grats (+Spanish tax I think, even if embarking in Rome?)

 

Is there any way to upgrade online beforehand given that an included Select package doesn't show up in the planner?

You have to do it onboard

Waite until you get on the ship. I had bought the select package. When I got on the ship they just put a UP sticker on my pass.

Yeah, I'd like the answer to that too! We have an upcoming cruise next month and both of us have the Select package. Would definitely take a free upgrade!:p

"Select" package included beer, wine, non-alcoholic cocktails, fountain sodas and water; however, it has been discontinued.:( They allow you to board with 2 bottles (750ml) of wine per cabin but this is sad for the lonely beer drinkers out there!;)

This is one of many threads about the changes in beverage packages.

If you have the now discontinued select package, it will be honoured onboard or you can upgrade to the new deluxe package for $10 + 18% gratuity per day.

Received this when sent an inquiry.....

We will be grandfathering in our guests who have already purchased the Select Package or have the package included in their cruise. Please review the points below:

 

our new offerings have been simplified into the Deluxe Beverage Package, the Refreshment Package, and the Classic Soda Package.

- Guests with Select Package will have the opportunity to upgrade onboard to the Deluxe Package at the special rate of $10 per person per day plus 18% gratuities

 

- Guests with the Premium and Ultimate Packages will be automatically upgraded to the new Deluxe Package at no extra cost.

 

- The Replenish Package is being replaced by the Refreshment Package and our Evian Water Package remains unchanged
