tarabonnie Posted October 13, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 13, 2016 A huge shout out to Carnival for taking wonderful care of the passengers that decided to take this cruise. The ship was half full and we had a very relaxing four day trip. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

tarabonnie Posted October 14, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted October 14, 2016 The cruise was full initially, but because of Hurricane Matthew and being delayed a day we were given the option to cancel.
Buckimion Posted October 14, 2016 #5 Share Posted October 14, 2016 I love the Elation but why was it only half full? Because of the shortened itinerary and other issues with hurricane Matthew, Carnival allowed passengers the option of canceling with a full refund. Not surprised that a lot of them took advantage of it.

h_blond2 Posted October 14, 2016 #7 Share Posted October 14, 2016 Not too many people want to go on the Elation. I have cruised on the Elation several times and it was full every time. I'm sure it was only half full due to people taking the refund because of the hurricane.
