No need to download the app. When on board, just turn on airplane mode and wifi, and you can connect to the ship's intranet (not internet). Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted October 16, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 16, 2016 You don't need the app these days, just use whatever browser you are using on your Samsung S7. There should be some instructions in your cabin on how to connect. I had no problems on Sun Princess recently using an older Samsung.

LokiPoki Posted October 16, 2016 #5 Share Posted October 16, 2016 Thought the app was no longer available to download? It wasn't when we were on in May...I had downloaded it just before we left, other family hadn't, and it had already disappeared as they'd changed to being able to just access the intranet directly as easyboy said (So whatever ship you're on e.g. we were on Dawn, was just something like https://dawn.princess.com ...) create a login and away you go...gives you access to itinerary, activity & ports info and messenger and if you have paid internet minutes, you also log in (and out...Just closing does not = log off, so is important to double check!) from there. RetiredNTraveling Posted October 16, 2016 #6 Share Posted October 16, 2016 Yes, it is available. No need to download the app. When on board, just turn on airplane mode and wifi, and you can connect to the ship's intranet (not internet). This is true! However, watch your battery as your phone is constantly searching for a connection and this uses a lot of battery! Just Mike
Thrak Posted October 16, 2016 #7 Share Posted October 16, 2016 Samsung Galaxy Note 7? If it is this phone believe Princess has issued a notice not to have these phones on or charging while on board. There is a Samsung Galaxy S7 phone that is fine. It's only the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 that catches fire. The phone is fine and is widely used. hugger Posted October 17, 2016 #8 Share Posted October 17, 2016 It's been about 3 yrs since we have cruised Princess. I remember I was able to use my tablet to access our 250 free mins with Platinum level loyalty. However, it seems as if there was something I had to do to make sure that I was logged off and not just close down my browser. THANKs in advance for your help:confused:

I think that 1.1.1.1 is another sign out option but I just use the logout option without typing anything. ;) Edited October 17, 2016 by Astro Flyer
