Fort Lauderdale - wine?

We will be flying in same day as our cruise out of Fort Lauderdale (and it's a Sunday!) Since Carnival allows 1 bottle of wine per person, is there somewhere close to the port where we can buy bottles of wine? Thanks!

Very commonly discussed here- Total Wines off 17th. More or less on your way to the port from the airport.

You can purchase it at noon or later. There is a Publix and Total Wine in the Harbor Shops just 5 minutes from the port.

The city repealed the law a couple of weeks ago. You can now buy booze in Fort Lauderdale before noon on Sundays!

You can pre-order your wine at the Total Wine web site; it will make your purchase quick and easy, and maybe save you a few bucks of taxi waiting fees. ;)

Right now Total Wine is either still opening at noon on Sundays or they haven't updated their Sunday hours on their website http://www.totalwine.com/store-info/...lauderdale/904.

 

OP - I would call/email them and ask if they now open earlier. If not, there is a Publix grocery store right next door that has a decent selection of wines.
