Getaway has never had the White Hot Party. It's been the Glow Party ever since her first sailing.

I was on the BA when we attended the "glow" party. Although there was a lot of white worn, the brighter colored clothing definitely glowed better. They pass out glow sticks and regardless of what you wear it is a great time!

How old are your kids? Mine are 4 and 11. They LOVED the Splash Academy. And Splash Academy held their own Glow Party for the kids at the same time as the adult version. My kids had a blast.

Go by the dollar store, or amazon or whatever and pick up a bunch of glow sticks for them.

 

Yes NCL will give some out, but my wife and I had THE BEST time last cruise walking around with about 50 and giving them out to all the small kids out there. To see the looks on their faces were priceless.

The party was fun but very loud. They paint your faces if you like. We stayed an hour or so, it was too loud for my daughter (and us).
