Where can I indicate that we're open to upgrades? I've looked in my online profile but may have missed it. :)

You have to call.

It's automatically done. The only time you do have to call is to indicate that you don't want an upgrade. Be prepared, upgrades are very rare these days...

If you do nothing then the booking defaults to "will accept an upgrade." Real upgrades can come at any time, you may not realize it, and you may not have have an advanced yes/no say. You can also receive upsell offers that you have to respond to. If you want your booking marked "no upgrade" then you have to call Princess or your T.A.

Better check with Princess if you booked directly.

If you booked with a TA then have them check to see whats marked on your booking.

You are always in line for an upgrade unless you tell them 'no'. Even then they can change your room.

Thanks all for the answers. I'm not sweating an upgrade, just curious more or less. Our last Alaskan cruise on Star Princess in 2014 we were upgraded from an interior to an ocean view, which was nice.

Hope you get again an upgrade this time. Though the email we get lately are more on upsell offer, rather than an upgrade.
