Delayed FLL sail away 1/6/17

My sister, Itahaca Gal is to sail away on the Eurodam today. She received an email from HAL at 3:45 am that the ship would not be able to sail until 9pm today due to the FLL airport event. They will be allowed to board at the usual time and spend the day onboard.

 

I thought I would share the new departure time for those who normally like to watch the sailaways.

 

 

Oops, 1/7/17 sailaway date. Sorry it's early still!

Thank you for the information.

I am not surprised that there will be a late departure.

So many planes were diverted and cancelled yesterday and now the air lines are trying to get back on track today.

Nieuw Amsterdam didn't leave until 11pm last night. Would not surprise me if Eurodam left later than 9. Such a terrible situation.

Thanks for the information. I'm really surprised that three of today's departures are still on the schedule for their normal sail-away times. I was expecting all to be delayed today (and tomorrow).
