MikeyA53 Posted January 26, 2017 Author #378 Share Posted January 26, 2017 . 1000 steps is one of the best snorkeling areas in Bonaire if you want to see sea turtles. Since the water conditions were very calm, Brenda suggested we start snorkeling here and now rather than continue on with the Island Tour. . stormynow Posted January 26, 2017 #385 Share Posted January 26, 2017 After seeing these photos, much of the ship looks pretty plain and boring. Especially for a Carnival ship. The atrium looks like an office building. Main dining room looks like an old Bonanza Steakhouse. Some of the other places look like Applebee's. The Havana area is nice, but you have to pay for all that....... Totally agree. Over 30 CCL cruises and no hurry for this one. Cyber bully has no business telling anyone to go away. Sorry Mike, had to vent.
howow123 Posted January 26, 2017 #386 Share Posted January 26, 2017 Awesome review. Thanks you for all of your hard work. Love looking at the pictures and reading about your activities. We are a family of 4 (two boys 12 and 9). We are planning a cruise on the Vista. The price seems about the same - Balcony versus interior family harbor versus interior spa room. Balcony is a bigger room. The family harbor has the extra family space and the spa has the spa access. But the rooms are smaller. Any thoughts? Thanks. Thank you for this great review. Love reading and looking at all of the beautiful pictures.

Thank you, It would be difficult to give you advice since there is just the two us now and when we had the kids on the cruise with us we either got adjoining room when they were younger and then inside rooms across from us when they were older. Maybe someone else with young kids could give you some advice.

We have booked a deluxe Oceanview view in family harbour for a year from now, with DH and I and our two boy who will be 12 and 14 at cruise time. Looking forward to the extra half bath I there! 2 cruzen Posted January 27, 2017 #399 Share Posted January 27, 2017 . At 2 p.m. we went to see the Marriage Show hosted by Carnival’s Brand Ambassador, John Heald, in the Liquid Lounge. As usual it was very entertaining. . I bet the L&M show was extra funny with JH being the host.
Cap'n Ron Posted January 27, 2017 #400 Share Posted January 27, 2017 Very much enjoying your review and can't wait to see how the Getaway compares to your Vista experience. We have booked Vista and Getaway for June 2018, but will cancel one of them. We're having trouble deciding between the two. The itinerary on Vista wins, but we enjoy NCL's Freestyle cruising and their excellent spa facilities. Choices, choices...either one will be great I'm sure! Thanks again for the great review, look forward to each update. Sent from my iPad using Forums
