Of course, I should have said which ship - it is the Dawn and is a mini suite. Deck 11.

 

BLACKBURNROVERS - those pictures were very helpful and although the sides would cut down wind on cooler voyages, I don't think that I would like it.

 

Thanks All! Will not choose this cabin.

I don't know what's going on with the deck plan for Deck 11 on the Dawn, because there are only 4 cabins with the "PrivaSea" symbol, and two of them are the aftmost mini-suites on that deck (right next to the spa), and I doubt those are hull balconies…

 

Edit: Thanks to Colin for the video. Those cabins are at the aft edge of the hull cutout, but since they have a full glass railing and ceiling to floor hull opening, I would not consider them to be hull balconies.

We were in a priva sea cabin on the Jade a few weeks ago. We were pleasantly surprised and didn’t mind the balcony at all. There’s several shots of our balcony in this video that I made of our cruise. Feel free to skim through it to get an idea of what it will look like.
