are there any drinks that are included with meals , havent cruised p and o only american lines where you can get tea coffee , squash and water anytime

Evening meals in the MDR, they always offer you iced water free of charge. You can order coke or beer, alternatively wine by glass or bottle but these are all chargeable. The prices on P&O are much cheaper than on US lines, similar to pub prices and do not have hefty service charges added US lines have.

 

Another way you can save on alcoholic drinks with P&O is to take bottles of wine and spirits aboard yourself for consumption in your cabin, elsewhere attracts a corkage charge.

 

Tea and coffee making facilities are available in your cabin free of charge. Fruit juices are free at breakfast.

We have had this conversation before, when it was suggested P&O are similar to pub prices. I pay £2.40 for a pint of bitter in my local in the North. I will pay not far short of double that on board ship. So may be similar to southern pub prices but definitely not Northern prices

Reminds me of when I went to a rock festival last year where it was £4.80 a pint. The Southerners were saying how cheap it was and the Northerners moaning about how dear it was!

For info, Good Pub Guide in 2015 stated that Herefordshire had the cheapest average beer price.
