I have read that balcony's on Deck 6 have metal and not glass. Is this still true after the recent remodel? We are booked for the October 6th sailing from Seattle to Sydney Australia and I don't want a metal one! Thank!

Still true.

Decks 7- 10 have balcony walls that are half glass, half metal.

Marylin-we are on the same cruise too. Really looking forward to all the sea days on the cruise.

The wall of the balcony is PART of the ship...can't really change that! It's not a huge deal. Really! You will find you do most of your ocean-gazing STANDING at the railing, whether it's a solid wall or not. The plexiglass walls are often smudgy and salt-spray incrusted!
