BBMacLaird Posted February 7, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 7, 2017 We are featuring a 31-Night cruise of the Mediterranean this summer...embarking in Athens (Pireaus) on July 5 and disembarking in Rome (Civitavecchia) on August 5, 2017. It is actually four short voyages combined into one long voyage with special pricing and various perks, such as Buy One, Get One Half Off (through 3/31), Free Wifi, and $3100 OBC per stateroom. Here's a link to learn more about it: https://www.azamaraclubcruises.com/destinations/31-nights-med
BBMacLaird Posted February 7, 2017 Author #2 Share Posted February 7, 2017 One of the many highlights of this Mediterranean adventure is experiencing the local festivities of the Festa del Redentore in Venice, Italy. Join in the celebrations however you choose, such as riding in a gondola in the gondola regatta! Watch the festival's fireworks from the deck of the Azamara Quest or at the Lido sandbar with the locals. https://www.azamaraclubcruises.com/blog/celebrating-festa-del-redentore-venice

BBMacLaird Posted February 8, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted February 8, 2017 On this 31-Night voyage of the Mediterranean, we have an overnight stay in Barcelona (July 28-July 29). Here's Five Things to Do in Barcelona! Out of the Five, I'd vote for FOOD & NIGHTLIFE :) How about you? https://www.azamaraclubcruises.com/blog/five-things-do-barcelona
BBMacLaird Posted February 17, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted February 17, 2017 Our 31-nights in the Med voyage spends a day in Rome (7/22), and also concludes in Rome on 7/29. Don't forget this month-long voyage is eligible for our "Buy One, Get One Half Off Plus" special if booked by 3/31/17. Here are a few blog posts we've written on visiting Rome, and what to do there: Three Lesser-Known Sites to Explore in Rome https://www.azamaraclubcruises.com/blog/three-lesser-known-sites-explore-rome How to Spend 36-Hours in Rome https://www.azamaraclubcruises.com/blog/how-spend-36-hours-rome Roaming Through Rome's Trastevere Neighborhood https://www.azamaraclubcruises.com/blog/roaming-through-romes-trastevere-neighborhood
yvrcruzer Posted February 19, 2017 #6 Share Posted February 19, 2017 For the July 14 2017 quest cruise any mention of an amazing evening has disappeared from the azamara web site. Has it been dropped from this itinerary now that it is being promoted as part of a 31 night cruise?
BBMacLaird Posted February 19, 2017 Author #7 Share Posted February 19, 2017 For the July 14 2017 quest cruise any mention of an amazing evening has disappeared from the azamara web site. Has it been dropped from this itinerary now that it is being promoted as part of a 31 night cruise? The voyage is also being sold as a separate Mediterranean voyage so we wouldn't drop the Azamazing Evening just because it's packaged into our 31-Night voyage. I can ask next Tuesday why it is missing from the website. Most likely just a simple change. Do you remember what was scheduled before it disappeared? comas Posted February 23, 2017 #11 Share Posted February 23, 2017 We are now in possession of the 2017/18 Destination Guide. Only after 2 online requests, 2 emails and a phone call !! I have taken a look at your cruise details and unfortunately under the heading COMPLIMENTARY AZAMAZING EVENING it still states 'Event details to be confirmed'. I expect this brochure has been compiled for some time, but thought you never know! Looking at the itinerary with 3 overnights in Venice and no other late night stays, the Azamazing Evening would probably be in Venice. With the Festival being held, it is probably difficult to arrange anything to top that!! Just noticed the departure time from Venice on 17th July is shown as 9am. The arrival time on 18th in Kotor is shown as 9am. So that's 24 hours at sea. Maybe the departure from Venice is 9pm?! It's quite a distance to Kotor.
ProfessorEFFE Posted February 23, 2017 #13 Share Posted February 23, 2017 Bonnie, Those 3 links are broken they have "https://" in them and should be removed, just as an FYI. Also those 3 blogs are FULL of useful Rome exploring! I think Azamara needs to advertise these blogs more.

ProfessorEFFE Posted February 24, 2017 #17 Share Posted February 24, 2017 Bonnie the top 2 URL's are broken. I am guessing that it has to do with your privileges/permissions @ corporate. Hmmm, I didn't do anything different than usual. I copy the URL at the top of the blog page, then paste the URL into my post on CC. I'm stumped why two wouldn't work for you. In the past I'd create a hyperlink onto the blog title, but someone wrote that that didn't work for them. I'll try it both ways next time.
