mamasylvia Posted February 13, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 13, 2017 I saw this tour offered on the NCL website and it's exactly what I want, but I wouldn't mind saving some money by booking it directly through the tour operator. However, I can't find who runs it. It's labelled accessible but neither of the shuttle operators (MM Tours and Juneau Tours) have accessible vehicles. I looked on the Tour Juneau website and didn't find any tours that just hit these 2 places. Ideas?

Princess and HAL have a lot of vehicles in Alaska during the season. They might be using one of there vehicles.

mamasylvia Posted February 13, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted February 13, 2017 Thanks, Kamloops, I didn't know they ran their own tours. That could certainly explain it.
dustyroad Posted February 15, 2017 #6 Share Posted February 15, 2017 You can take the Blue Bus to Mendenhall Glacier on your own round trip and come back when you want. The busses pick-up at the end of the dock and come back and forth every half hour. I would not buy a ticket for the tram ahead of time. If the weather is bad you wont see any thing and you have wasted your money. Both of these tours can be done on your own and you will save money doing it yourself.
