Talex831 Posted February 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2017 Traveling with a 10 y/o and plan to book a resort for our day in Falmouth. The choices are Jewel Runaway Bay and Hilton Rose Hall. camreesmom Posted February 20, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 20, 2017 We're thinking of trying Jewel Runaway Bay in June. We've been to Hilton Rose Hall 3 times and the whole family enjoyed the water park but are interested in trying something new this time.
CCC3 Posted February 20, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 20, 2017 We love the Hilton Rose Hall! We are sailing to Jamaica again, and we plan to go again. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
uznmyhead Posted February 21, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 21, 2017 have any of you purchased your day pass to the hilton, directly through the hilton or just used resort for a day?
Talex831 Posted February 21, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted February 21, 2017 It's a bit cheaper to get on your own, but by the time you add transportation, it's about the same cost as resort for a day. Leaning toward the Hilton, but still not decided! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

trekyrct Posted August 6, 2017 #10 Share Posted August 6, 2017 I am considering booking this Resort through Resort For a Day for our upcoming cruise in September, 2017. I was browsing the excursions offered through RCCL and this resort is one of the options....Jewel Beach, Golf and Water Park. I was amazed at the difference in price between booking through Resort for a day and RCCL. It was cheaper for all three of us (2 adults and 1 child) through Resort for a day than ONE adult through RCCL. Am I missing something?
trekyrct Posted August 6, 2017 #11 Share Posted August 6, 2017 Correction to my previous post.......RFAD was $99 for adults and our 3 year old was free. RCCL charges $169 for adults and $119 for children.......Seriously??

carbon Posted August 16, 2017 #13 Share Posted August 16, 2017 Is Falmouth to Hilton Rose Hall about 20 minutes? Falmouth to Jewel Runaway Bay 40 minutes. Rose Hall on your own is $85 and kids under 5 are free. How much is transportation for 4 adults and two children? Jewel Runaway Bay is $99 adults and children are $65 includes transportation. Thoughts?
CCC3 Posted August 17, 2017 #14 Share Posted August 17, 2017 Falmouth to Hilton Rose Hall is about 20 min. We book through resortforaday.com. Transportation is included and they always have us back in time to shop the port. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

AtticusandArella Posted August 19, 2017 #16 Share Posted August 19, 2017 Does anyone know the price if I try to purchase from the resort itself instead of going through resort for a day??? I love that they include transportation but I have small kids (2 and 5) so we might not be able to stay the 7 hours. We are usually done after 4 hours. Arzeena Posted September 7, 2017 #17 Share Posted September 7, 2017 We just returned from Falmouth. Went to Hilton Rose Hall . Booked with Resort for a Day. Included pickup and drop off at the port. Everything was really good. Would do it again. Took about 30 minutes to get there, no traffic.

Arzeena Posted September 15, 2017 #20 Share Posted September 15, 2017 This is good news as we are really looking at going to Hilton Rose Hall. How was the crowd? The crowd was not bad at all, considering that there were a lot of available lounger chairs, floats at the lazy river, etc all over the property. Lots of space. Restaurants and cafe's were not crowded at all. I loved it. I would definitely go back again.
Wishing on a star Posted September 27, 2017 #21 Share Posted September 27, 2017 Does anyone know if the Jerk Hut is included with these day-passes, for sure. And, is it open most every afternoon? I do know that it might be independently operated, as the guy comes in and does this for a limited time in the afternoons. The web-site might have an error, as it doesn't look like it is showing the Jerk Hut is open every day. Thanks! Also, how was the beach when you were there. I know it isn't Seven Mile Beach, or Grace Bay... But, I wonder if it might be nice, if conditions are good. We will have other beach-days planned on our cruise. The Private Island, a short while on Seven Mile Beach at Grand Cayman, and a beach club on Cozumel. But I am a beach-girl, so just curious. Tidman Posted September 28, 2017 #22 Share Posted September 28, 2017 Does anyone know if the Jerk Hut is included with these day-passes, for sure. And, is it open most every afternoon? The HRH resort website indicates that the jerk hut is open Saturday and Sunday.
Wishing on a star Posted September 28, 2017 #23 Share Posted September 28, 2017 I know! But, seems confusing as reviews mention that it seems to be open daily. We may or not choose to leave the ship and do HRH? But, their Jerk Hut gets good reviews! Hey, maybe these guys open up daily, when it is more high season? Sueil33 Posted October 8, 2017 #24 Share Posted October 8, 2017 Did anyone went to the Jewel Paradise Cove for adults only? We booked through Resort for a day. It includs transport & is all inclusive. We were there 2 years ago. Food and drink were good. Beach access is limited. The pools and staff were great but if you want great beach access you might want to consider other options. We are thinking About trying Runaway Bay on this years cruise.
