gamblinmon Posted March 8, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 8, 2017 Hi everyone, I have sailed on the Divina previously and now received a free cruise for MSC. Trying to decide beween 10 night on Divina(upgrading to aft balcony cabin) or 7 night on the Seaside(new ship). What would you do? Thanks in advance. deliver42 Posted March 8, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 8, 2017 I've been on the Divina, and normally I'd go with the 10 night, but the Seaside just seems too fabulous to pass up.By the way, I'm booked on her for April, 2018.

Cap'n Ron Posted March 8, 2017 #4 Share Posted March 8, 2017 I too would vote Seaside as it looks to be a truly innovative ship and experience. Sent from my XT1095 using Forums mobile app

Rare BermudaBound2014 Posted March 9, 2017 #7 Share Posted March 9, 2017 I am always the odd duck on this forum lol. I'd do 10'days on divina in an aft (deck 10, 11, or 12 in that order). Right now the seaside scares me a bit because it is such an unknown. The space ratios on both seaside and merglivila design. are some of the tightest in the industry which could end up problematic for MSC. The ship does look beautiful but I absolutely LOVE any balcony large enough to hold a lounge chair (yes, I'll fall asleep out there) so that would be my vote for a Caribbean itininary. gamblinmon Posted March 9, 2017 Author #9 Share Posted March 9, 2017 Unfortunately I found out from my MSC Rep that I cannot upgrade to fantastica category. Looks like we might try the Seaside, just wondering about sailing on a brand new ship, will they have worked out the kinks by Feb.
