We've been on a number of Royal Caribbean cruises. In the past, I recall the on-line Cruise Planner having Specialty Dining Options and Beverage Packages available for purchase many months in advance of the cruise. Currently, I am booked on the Navigator for a Jan. 5, 2018 cruise (280 days!) and neither are available. Yesterday, I was on the phone with Royal Caribbean Customer Service about something else and I asked when they would be available. The guy told me not until 90 days before the cruise date. I wonder if this is correct. Not to be rude, but he could barely speak English.

Yes, I believe it is. I'm booked on the Allure for Dec, and can't do anything yet.

I am scheduled for May 2017 and our drink package showed up in either October or November. I think it just varies.

No set time for various reservations to open. Dining, beverage packages, excursions can all open at a different times.

i booked in FEB for DEC and drink pack was one of the things almost immediately available so it does vary. about 1 month later excursions filled up. and then more of them later.

 

i'm waiting for one of the sales on drinks or excursions or food :)

 

booked all access tour because i heard that was limited.

My June cruise on Freedom dining opened at exactly 90 days. Beverage packages and excursions were open well before that.

We booked in February for August and our cruise planner was open for drink packages, dining, spa and specialty dining.

Were going out in Aug and the only thing we can do is spend money on pkgs and services. No show reservations yet. Rccl told me same 90 days out from cruise it opens up.
