Just a heads up… I just used our on board credit to book our shore excursions! So cool you can do this now!!! Cruising out of San Juan next Sunday on the Jewel!!! Did not know it it was common knowledge, or not.

I'm guessing this is the cruise line OBC? I have $400 per cabin of OBC but from my TA and this

would be good to know regarding specialty restaurants and drink packages.

Thank you.

I have both a TA and RC OBC for our upcoming B2B cruise on the Jewel. The OBC from Royal is the only one showing that I can use for items listed in my cruise planner. The TA OBC doesn't show as an option to use.

Just a heads up for non US guests. I may have misunderstood the terms and conditions on the screen when I saw my OBC being available but this is the situation.

I purchased 300$ when the rate was 1.42 , cost £210.

My OBC showing in my planner was £200 plus a few cents. I know the rate has dropped blah, blah, blah but It said something like any purchases made using the OBC would lock in the exchange rate at that time, showed 1$ = 80p.

I was going to book speciality dining but hubby said pay by credit card and we will use the actual Dollar amount onboard. Confused? I was.
