You will always get a private table.

shukapaw Posted April 10, 2017 #4 Share Posted April 10, 2017 OK that works thanks You can certainly request to be served by the same person. We did this on the Getaway. We loved our waiter and had him each night ~Brian

mamasylvia Posted April 11, 2017 #9 Share Posted April 11, 2017 How do you make MDR reservation? I don't even see that as an option online. We are sailing on the Gem's sister ship, the Pearl.
poona1 Posted April 11, 2017 #10 Share Posted April 11, 2017 you don't need to make reservations for the complimentary restaurants as you are 99 percent guaranteed to get a table, but the specialty you must before the cruise begins or as soon as you get on board
LrgPizza Posted April 11, 2017 #11 Share Posted April 11, 2017 Just so you know, there is no need for reservations. You are now tied down to 6:30 every day. The idea of freestyle is that if you want to show up and eat at 5:50 you can, or at 7:12, or whenever you feel like it. You've tied yourself down, and that's your choice, but it's certainly not necessary.

mamasylvia Posted April 12, 2017 #14 Share Posted April 12, 2017 > once your booked, you go to My NCL, then explore and plan then dining I just did that and all that show up are the specialty restaurants. Very odd that one ship would have MDR reservation capability and a sister ship of the same class wouldn't.

kitty-sail Posted January 18, 2018 #16 Share Posted January 18, 2018 I'm going on the Escape and want to know how to book reservations for MDR. Heard something about a kiosk by elevator to make reservations. Can someone explain? Also heard it's possible to make MDR reservations on myNCL? Is that correct? Heard something about a kiosk by elevator to make reservations. Can someone explain? There are touchscreens mounted on the wall in various places scattered about the ship. It's quite intuitive to follow the prompts to make your reservations. Also heard it's possible to make MDR reservations on myNCL? Is that correct?Yes.
