Flexibility with BOGO restaurants?

I know this has been discussed, but I can't find it...they're offering the BOGO dining package for our August 2017 sailing on Grandeur. My husband is hesitant because we want to do Chops and Giovanni's, but not Izumi. I know they make the reservations for you and you can change them once onboard, but has anyone experienced any difficulty with this? We just don't want to be stuck with a reservation at Izumi because we weren't able to change it to Chops. Thanks!

I've never had any issue changing my reservations. It's the first thing I do once I get on board, after stopping by the bar.

You should be good , just do it asap, I am sure other will be trying to do the same, although we like Izumi

Yeah I was able to switch and even though they said it's the 1st two nights, I was able to get night #1 and 3rd day...
