Krazy Kruizers Posted June 14, 2017 #3 Share Posted June 14, 2017 Thank you for the link -- loved that first photo. Bet you won't believe that I have just an ordinary cell phone to use for emergencies -- like yesterday when a massive storm hit us and we lost all power for over a couple of hours and internet, phone and TV for several hours. Same thing happened today. My original cell phone, DH took tons of pictures of his thumb and the floor -- thus I got rid of that feature. Even when I had to update the cell phone, I had texting, picture taking all taken off -- not going to pay for things we do not use. Have no use for these iPhones, etc.

pengu1n Posted June 16, 2017 #5 Share Posted June 16, 2017 Funny how quickly most of us have gotten used to having this technology available, almost to the point where it seems to have been longer than 20 years. We have had personal computers for so many years that I don't remember the start of that, but what impressed me was the first time we got on the web (my son was in first grade, so about 1990-91) and there was all this information just floating around somewhere in space.
