How does lunch on the mdr menu look like??

Usually you'll have a brunch menu that'll have both breakfast and lunch foods. Feel free to have both breakfast and lunch on those days.

True lunch menus are now done on cruises with lots of sea days, like the Hawaii itin with 9 sea days. On those cruises we've had three seadays with breakfast/lunch menus. Each lunch has been a different menu. They usually have some sort of salad entree, pasta, hamburger, fish etc.

there is no lunch in the MDR on shore days, only the SeaDay Brunch

Yep, Port days usually only have breakfast, no lunch. But if it's a late arrival it could be either brunch or breakfast/lunch.

We are on the Miracle Transcanal, wonder if they will have lunch in the MDR. We really miss the MDR lunch.
My guess would be yes. Most of the Journey cruises that have numerous sea days alternate the brunch and lunch menus. We have enjoyed the lunch when it was offered on the Pride.
