Rare nikkiw60 Posted August 6, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 6, 2017 When we booked for our February 15th cruise we opted for the deluxe drinks package at £310 each. Just looked again at the options for This sailing and they have changed the packages! This deluxe package is now cheaper than a new All Inclusive classic package! Anyone any idea on how they differ? jerseylily Posted August 6, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 6, 2017 (edited) I am on Musica in Nov. The drinks package I have bought now in the description includes words in Italian!!! Which when translated say...The already existing code has been split for cruises up to 8 days and from 9 days onwards.......hmmmm! Plus another drinks package is now listed where the drinks are available 'up to $7.50!!' Like some other cruise line packages I guess they are either about to announce changes to their drinks package or their system is corrupted. You have to keep an eye out for their latest brochures. According to both the UK and Ireland 2018/19 online brochures, there's a new pricing structure being introduced for cruises of 9+ nights and sailings of <9 nights. As MSC's year usually begins in early April, I'm assuming that's when the changes will be implemented. Here's a link for the UK brochure. Pages 214/5 have the drinks package prices indicated: https://www.msccruises.co.uk/en-gb/Brochures/Our-Brochures.aspx I looked on the US website a few days ago and the 2018/19 brochure wasn't available. Até Posted August 6, 2017 #5 Share Posted August 6, 2017 (edited) I've noticed a similar anomaly on my Divina sailing. Two versions of the 18 voucher plan, but these are the same price. One mentions price a limit. Edited August 6, 2017 by Até

sidari Posted August 6, 2017 #7 Share Posted August 6, 2017 Cruise of 9 nights and upwards the price is cheaper ... :D
Rare Beamafar Posted August 6, 2017 #8 Share Posted August 6, 2017 (edited) Cruise of 9 nights and upwards the price is cheaper ... :D Not for our Sept 9 nighter ................... but it is for our Dec 11 night cruise. Funny thing is: the package isn't included in our Sept cruise, but it is in our Dec one - so no benefit accruing on either cruise! Funny the Italian though Yeah ............... I've now got the Italian description in the "Enhance Your Cruise" section of 'My Bookings', too. That wasn't there earlier this week when I was checking the pricings.
Rare nikkiw60 Posted August 7, 2017 Author #10 Share Posted August 7, 2017 Yeah ............... I've now got the Italian description in the "Enhance Your Cruise" section of 'My Bookings', too. That wasn't there earlier this week when I was checking the pricings. Bea I have just called MSC UK and she said to ignore the website! If you have chance can you also call them with the same query regarding what it says for your cruise and see what they say to you? tbmrt Posted August 8, 2017 #11 Share Posted August 8, 2017 Just a fyi.... I just checked paperwork sent from my Travel Agent showing Booking Details. Had much difficulty getting to information myself on MSC website. Besides having the 24 Fantastica vouchers, I prepaid for 18 additional vouchers @ $89. My understanding is that this was for non-premium drinks. The paperwork breaks this down as $44.50 each (totaling the $89). The code used for these vouchers shows 538S17. However, it is referred to as 18 PREMIUM drink coupons. I'm sure this is incorrect, and only hope that I won't have a problem when picking up my vouchers at the casino. Taking all paperwork with me of course.
