We really enjoyed Raices as well. They had the best Pina Coladas ever!!

Just had lunch at Raices.

I'm not exaggerating when I say the porkchop with the crispy skin is easily one of the five best meals I've eaten in my entire life. And the mofongo with skirt steak was outstanding as well.

Has anyone been to Chocobar de Casa Cortes? Will be there at about breakfast time cause of when cruise stops, but still hoping to get an entrée. Is it hard to get a table?

I love Casa Cortes, they have a chocolate grilled cheese that is wonderful. The pastries are also very tasty. It is not hard to get a table, I never had to wait. The staff is not the friendliest, but the food more than makes up for it. Be adventurous, try something you would never think of pairing with chocolate.

If you are a craft beer drinker like us there is only one place to go- Taverna Lupula. It is under new ownership and they are really trying to carve out a name as The craft beer bar in San Juan. They have bar food, good enough for our lunch. We hope they made it through Irma- we will be there in March!~
