How do you get notifications about pre-cruise promotions?

I read somewhere that sometimes there is a promo in advance of the trip regarding the photography package as well as on spa but you have to "look out" for it. What does that mean? When do such promotions regularly appear? Are other promotions (such as for drinks or internet) offered on occasion? Thanks.

Photo package can be seen on your Cruise Personalizer. If we miss it, we sometimes know of promo prices on our Roll Call

I check prices every day too....several times a day to be precise.

Some price-drops last only mere minutes before going away forever.

I do check prices every day. Prices actually can fluctuate that often. I'm not that experienced of a cruiser, but I'm really good at finding deals. I notice some other comments that are critical of the expectation of discounts, perks, etc., but the perks, discount, OBC, etc. that I've gotten are open to anyone booking at that time. I have never gotten any "special" deal from a TA or the cruise line directly. But you can be sure I will search for the best deal for ME!

Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

 

The "yes" could mean some OBC or an upgrade to a different category cabin.

 

But taking advantage of a price drop could mean you lose amenities that came with your original booking.

Believe it or not, I got an all-inclusive Photo package on our last cruise for $99.00!!! I got it by randomly checking my Cruise Personalizer. So yes....most definitely worth it!

PS...caribel is exactly right about possibly having to give something up for another promotion. We chose to give up free gratuities for an all inclusive beverage package. When we did the numbers...so worth it.
