papadewey221 Posted October 13, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 13, 2017 Hello, Anyone recently on the Carnival Freedom, that can tell me how the room temp is controlled in the balcony rooms. Is there a temp control on the wall? Thanks Sailing in 2 weeks. Vincent
dmdiver Posted October 13, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 13, 2017 On the wall - just a round knob that goes from colder to warmer. It doesn't state the actual temperature.

DebJ14 Posted October 13, 2017 #5 Share Posted October 13, 2017 Yes, true. I'm not even sure that it does anything....lol It definitely did something in our OS. The steward would turn it all the way into the blue zone and the cabin was like a refrigerator. We would turn it well into the red zone where we were comfortable and it warmed up nicely. We played the game with the steward twice a day, every day.
watermelonqueen99 Posted October 14, 2017 #6 Share Posted October 14, 2017 The temp control is worthless. It will not get your cabin below 72 degrees, this coming from maintenance themselves. The rooms are blazing hot to us, and we won't cruise without 2 fans. I really wish Carnival would do something about this, as it's been the same on every ship we've sailed on.
