Celebrity wifi?

Will be traveling on Equinox and have never experienced wifi connectivity on Celebrity. Is it high speed technology? Experience and advice please.

Last year on the Infinity I used the internet connection daily. The connection was not strong enough to stream video, though everything else, including audio, was fine. I had some problems with the initial set up, and went to the computer lounge (I forgot what the actual name is). The staff there were friendly and very helpful.

It is better than it used to be but still quite expensive. Facetime etc. works ok

I'm on Reflection Transatlantic now and speed has been surprisingly good. Netflix can be occasionally choppy and WiFi calling cuts out a bit, but overall, works very well for sending texts, photos, reading email, and the news. I should run speed test and see what it is.

Just checked and down is 4 MPS right now. At night it can be 18. Up is 1.

The first day and on sea days, it can be real slow. In ports, speed does increase and also late at night. It is not as fast as back home. Be advised that if you happen to have a plan with minutes, they typically do not last long.

Given that high speed internet was done as retrofit you can expect hot spots, cold spots and dead spots. Public areas are best bet, cabins are hit and miss.
