Adventure will have Izumi Express after wet dock in January. It is replacing Gravity Sports Bar.

No hibachi/hot rock, etc.

On Liberty it is just a small booth next to Cupcake Cupboard. Izumi Express sells packaged sushi in the evening 5:30-7:30. Liberty does not have an Izumi restaurant.

I am not familiar enough with Izumi to really specify.

It has never appealed to us so we have never tried it.

However, I was specifically told that AD's will be "express" and would not have hibachi or hot rock.

So whatever that means!😀

Doesn't sound like too many ships have it yet. I found an article from 2016 that said that it was going to be rolled out fleet wide.:(

 

I love sushi but my wife won't touch it so Izumi Express would be perfect. I could buy some, put it in my mini fridge in my cabin and have it around 9 instead of the cardboard and ketchup.;p

Izumi Express just showed up October 28 on Liberty. According to an article I read, Izumi Express will be put on ships that do not have an Izumi. Just a 2X3 booth (on Liberty).

Liberty used to have sushi at Jade in the WJ for dinner every night. Now that they have figured out a way to charge for sushi on a ship with no Izumi, bye, bye sushi for free in Jade.

Thanks, sounds like it's just sushi. We used to enjoy the tempura and sukiyaki, but those selections are disappearing too.
