Ovation of the Seas...Promenade deck? and other questions.

Seattle is finally getting at least one Season of a Larger Ship the Ovation of the Seas. We like to walk the Promenade deck on Hal, does the Ovation have a wooden Promenade deck or any walkable outside deck besides the running track. Where is the Buffet and Hamburger stand? What is the dress code on those tux nights for the rest of the ship? tx

Royal does not enforce any dress suggestions, so you will see a wide variety of attire. Wear whatever you want.

The "dress suggestion" is just for the MDR...and that is ignored most of the time! You will see everything from shorts to tuxes about the ship....wear what you like.

Yes, Deck 5...often empty.

The buffet, called the Windjammer, is on Deck 14. (There's also a hotdog stand inside the SeaPlex.)

There are those that still wear formal clothes but wearing casual clothing on formal nights is acceptable. Happy Sailing!

Be aware that the deck 5 outdoor promenade deck does not wrap completely around, and views are often obstructed by lifeboats.
