Rhapsody of the sea or Norwegian Star which would you choose?

Both Greek cruises, we like both itinaries it’s now down to the ship. Teen daughter will be in with us and we’re looking at an outside cabin. It was an extra £1000 for her to have her own cabin (is it worth it?!)

I’m stuck which would you choose? Primarily I’d prefer a more modern ship teen would obviously prefer things for her to do.

Also if you’re from the UK who do you book with and is now a good a time to book for August?

Thank you

You can book now for August but still check regularly for price drops within the allowed time, as it may be significant even after considering the cancellation policy on deposits in the UK.

Neither is a modern ship. These are 2 of the older ships for both RCI and NCL. I've been on neither, but I've been on their sister ships. I recommend Rhapsody. Star and her sister ship (Dawn) are a ship class I will never sail again. It's a bad design and they eliminated their forward looking panoramic lounge.

Personally, I find service, food and ship design/decor to be better on RCI.
