eyelash Posted January 13, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 13, 2018 We love aft cabins and have booked Baja 756 on the Caribbean Princess. We've already been warned about possible soot or vent noise or odors on the balcony, but do not believe we will be bothered if those occur. I am curious to know whether the balcony for Baja 756 is covered, and whether the bed is located nearer the cabin door or nearer to the balcony. Is there a way to know? It seems the cabin schematics available on the Princess website are pretty generic for each cabin type without being specific to each cabin. Any info would be appreciated. Thrak Posted January 13, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 13, 2018 Who warned you about soot on Caribbean Princess? There is no issue at all. The issue was with the new ships (Royal) and was never an issue on any other ships. You might want to discount anything else that particular source has to say. nukesubsailor Posted January 13, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 13, 2018 The bed is not next to the balcony door. The balcony is covered by the deck above. Here is a photo of B-755 on the Caribbean Princess.
Drews_Cruise Posted January 14, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 14, 2018 You have a great cabin, no soot, no noise, just the "wake" sound and you will enjoy it tremendously.
VaCruzers Posted April 6, 2018 #5 Share Posted April 6, 2018 Do the aft balconies have lounge chairs?
Rare Essiesmom Posted April 6, 2018 #6 Share Posted April 6, 2018 The bed location does not alternate on Princess as it does on some other lines. EM
skynight Posted April 6, 2018 #7 Share Posted April 6, 2018 Do the aft balconies have lounge chairs? 2 chairs that recline some, not flat, and a small table.
Fun4Now Posted December 19, 2023 #8 Share Posted December 19, 2023 @eyelash, about B756… was it noisy and cold with the vent? was there a vent on the balcony? we just booked and found out our room number, but now reading online comments we are wondering if we should try to switch room. CapricornVortex Posted January 29 #9 Share Posted January 29 Hi @Fun4Now We are also booked in this room sailing in may - If we are going first we will let you know ! and if you do choose to stay in the cabin and go before us let us know how it was , would be greatly appreciated. Either way I'll post an update here once we have been ( we don't plan on changing the room) - and add some photos etc
Fun4Now Posted January 29 #10 Share Posted January 29 Hello @CapricornVortex, Thank you for your reply, we were too concerned, we changed our booking to avoid this room. We will be taking a NCL cruise with the same kind of cabin and similar itinerary around the same time, March 2024. Good luck and be well.
